Pernille Sølling ranks among Denmark’s leading attorneys within insurance and pension law.
Pernille is one of DLA Piper Denmark’s partners in charge of its insurance affairs, and she is a Leading Individual in The Legal 500 within ‘Insurance’ and recognised within ‘Dispute Resolution’. She has a right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court and has conducted a considerable number of lawsuits before the Danish courts. She has acted for the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority in several cases with a high success rate.
She acts for leading insurance and pension companies and insurance brokers in Denmark and abroad and provides advice on all aspects of insurance and pension law. Her advice also spans regulatory and contractual matters, disputes relating to coverage, insurance fraud, occupational pensions, financial issues as well as insurance conditions.
Pernille is also an external examiner at the practical litigation test in the assistant-attorney programme and lectures in pension law at Advokaternes HR (a Danish course provider for attorneys).

- Pernille Sølling acted for a large Danish pension company in a lawsuit concerning interest-rate guarantee. The lawsuit was particularly complex and reached the Danish Supreme Court.
- Pernille is acting for a Danish insurance broker in connection with the transfer of an insurance portfolio from Norway to Sweden. She also assists the client in connection with its registration as an insurance company in Denmark.
- Pernille regularly provides trusted advice to several major Danish life and pension companies and insurance brokers. She also provides advice to foreign insurance companies and insurance brokers concerning business activities in Denmark.
