Anders Hilt promoted to partner at DLA Piper Norway
DLA Piper Norway is pleased to announce the promotion of Anders Hilt to its partnership, effective 1 May 2025. He is one of 65 lawyers worldwide to be promoted to DLA Piper's global partnership.
Anders currently leads the firm’s Renewable Energy Sector group and has distinguished himself in the fields of energy law and planning and building law. As a partner, he will help strengthen DLA Piper’s position as a leading legal adviser to stakeholders in the energy and real estate sectors.
He joined DLA Piper as an associate in 2019, having previously served as a Senior Advisor at the County Governor of Oslo and Viken (now the State Administrator). He brings extensive experience in the energy sector, spanning complex regulatory issues, transactions, and contracts.
In addition, Anders has significant experience in real estate development, with a particular emphasis on planning and building law. His dual specialism in energy and real estate makes him a sought-after adviser for data centre operators, and he plays an integral role in DLA Piper’s well-established data centre team. Clients consistently highlight his commercial acumen and his talent for finding pragmatic solutions to regulatory challenges.
- Anders combines legal excellence with deep insight into public administration and the energy sector. He has been instrumental in shaping our renewable energy strategy. It is always a proud moment when skilled colleagues step into the partnership, and we are delighted to welcome him,” says Camilla Wollan, Country Managing Partner at DLA Piper Norway.
– I’m truly excited to step into the role of partner and to continue leading DLA Piper Norway’s focus on the energy sector. The industry is undergoing rapid change, both in Norway and internationally. Being part of our international energy team – which comprises over 400 specialists in more than 40 countries – offers unique opportunities to address complex, cross-border issues. I look forward to helping grow a strong knowledge base and collaborating closely with talented colleagues and engaged clients in this dynamic sector,” says Anders Hilt.
