DLA Piper has advised Pharmaq on its acquisition of Fish Vet Group from Benchmark Holdings
DLA Piper Norway has advised Pharmaq, part of the global animal health company Zoetis, on its acquisition of Fish Vet Group from the LSE listed Benchmark Holdings.
Zoetis’ acquisition of Fish Vet Group is a strategic addition to its Pharmaq business which develops and commercializes fish vaccines and offers services in vaccination and diagnostics for aquaculture.
Fish Vet Group is headquartered in Inverness, Scotland, with diagnostic lab locations there as well as in Norway, Ireland and Chile, where it provides veterinary services and services in bacteriology, histology and PCR testing.
The DLA Piper team was led by corporate partner Fredrik Lykke, and key members included Fredrik Klebo-Espe and Anniken Sjøvold from Norway, Paul Tominey and Catriona Melton from UK and Paulo Larrain from Chile.
