DLA Piper named by the Financial Times as one of the top ten Most Innovative Law firms in North America for both the Business of Law and Legal Expertise

DLA Piper is pleased to announce it was named by the Financial Times as one of the top ten Most Innovative Law firms in North America in both the Business of Law and Legal Expertise overall categories. The rankings were part of the Financial Times' Innovative Lawyers Awards, which also recognized the firm in five other categories, including: for its use of Technology to provide superior client service; as a provider of innovative New Products and Services; for its Legal Expertise in Dispute Resolution; for Creating a New Standard in Legal Expertise; and Enabling Business Growth for its clients.

Additionally, the Financial Times singled out DLA Piper's Accelerate website in its coverage of novel new legal technology and services, noting that the site offers free access to necessary documents and tools for early-stage companies which allows the firm "to develop relationships with Silicon Valley companies" and that Accelerate "is steadily gaining more visitors."

The Financial Times revealed an increase in the competition this year for these prestigious awards with 94 law firms submitting more than 500 nominations.
