Emma Bruin Coulthard is part of DLA Piper Norway's Banking and finance team and is a member of the firm-wide tech sector team. Emma favours an interdisciplinary approach to legal advice, and her area of expertise includes new technology such as AI and blockchain, and she also plays a central role in DLA Piper’s work related to ESG and sustainability. She also assists clients with more traditional financial regulatory matters.  

In addition to her legal education, Emma has worked within the education sector, both as a teacher and in administrative positions within secondary education and higher education. She has solid experience in imparting knowledge in various settings, which she also uses actively in her work as an associate. Among other things, Emma has lectured for BI Norwegian Business School, JUC's network and professional group for future banking services, as well as for SPAMA - a course and conference organizer with a particular focus on banking and finance. Emma is also a member of the Sustainability Law research network at the University of Oslo.
