Karoline Oppen Berntsen

Karoline Oppen Berntsen is part of DLA Piper's litigation team and compliance and risk management group. Karoline's experience include advising clients on a variety of compliance issues, including development of compliance programs and advising on compliance with international sanctions, the Anti-Money Laundering Act, export control legislation and anti-corruption. She also has experience with crisis management and handling civil litigation risk and exposure to risk of criminal prosecution. Her work includes conducting risk assessments, mitigation of red flags, integrity due diligence and other investigations, as well as civil litigation.
