DLA Piper advised Green Mountain on €371 million financing of data centre in Norway
DLA Piper has advised Green Mountain AS in connection with a €371 million senior secured financing for its newly developed data centre near Hamar, Norway.
The financing was led by Macquarie Capital Principal Finance, part of the global financial services group Macquarie Group. The facility is secured against Green Mountain’s 90MW data centre and supports the continued development and operation of this strategically important asset.
The transaction represents a significant investment in Nordic digital infrastructure and highlights the growing role of institutional capital in financing large-scale real estate and data centre projects in the region.
DLA Piper acted as legal counsel to Green Mountain. The team was led by Magnus Lutnæs (Partner, Real Estate) and Børge Grøttjord (Partner, Banking & Finance).
