Børge A. Grøttjord advises lenders, borrowers and investors on a widespread range of debt transactions, insolvency and debt restructurings. His clients have consisted of commercial banks, investment banks, hedge funds, private equity funds, corporate borrowers and Norwegian governmental entities. He has also advised financial institutions in relation to their funding programmes and regulatory framework.
He has extensive experience from working with project finance, acquisition and leveraged finance, direct loans, real estate finance, asset finance, public private partnerships and high yield bonds. He has also been working with EMTN-Programmes and financial derivatives (ISDA).
He is a frequently used speaker and is ranked and recommended in Chambers, Legal 500 and IFLR1000. He has also authored commentaries on the leading law of loan regulation in Norway and the handling of insolvent companies and defaulted loans.
