DLA Piper at Oslo Innovation Week 2026
Why do so many corporate-startup partnerships never move beyond the pilot stage? It's one of several questions we'll be exploring during Oslo Innovation Week, where DLA Piper will be involved in four events covering innovation, technology and investment.
Here's where you can find us throughout the week.
Tuesday 20 October, 11:30–12:30 | Startuplab Summit
The roundtable "Innovation Without Handcuffs: The Reality of Corporate-Startup Partnerships" explores what contracts should cover from day one, why partnerships often stall and how to turn a promising pilot into a successful commercial relationship.
Our Managing Associates Mariana Chapei and Fredrik Finsås join representatives from Viridien and Over Easy Solar to share perspectives from the corporate, legal and startup sides.
The roundtable is exclusively for registered Startuplab Summit attendees, and registration is subject to approval by the organiser.
Tuesday 20 October, 15:00–18:00 | Industrial Tech Summit, Byens Tak
DLA Piper is co-hosting the Industrial Tech Summit alongside RunwayVC, RunwayFBU, The Foundry and Kvanted.
The summit brings together founders, industrial leaders and investors to explore the next generation of industrial technology. The programme features the co-founders of Cognite, alongside founders from OTee, HIVE and Lace Lithography.
The event is fully booked, but a waitlist is available.
Wednesday 21 October, 14:10–15:00 | Oslo Proptech Summit, Construction City
Our Partner and Head of Real Estate, Magnus Løvlien Lutnæs, will present "The Contract Is The Asset" as part of the session "Energy First Part IV: Own The Stack".
The session explores the financial and commercial considerations behind a 100 MW data centre project, with Magnus focusing on how contracts can turn a powered site into financeable infrastructure. His presentation begins at 14:32.
Members of our technology team will also attend the summit. In the evening, we'll be joining the Top of the Props awards, where Fredrik Finsås is a member of the jury.
Thursday 22 October, 08:30–10:30 | Who Pays for Resilience? – Capital Breakfast, Oslo
Together with Nordic Edge and PT1, we're hosting an investor breakfast exploring when the growing need for resilience in infrastructure, energy and buildings becomes an investable opportunity.
The event brings together investors, growth companies and industry representatives for a conversation about where technology, capital and the demand for more resilient solutions meet.
Places are limited, and registration is subject to approval. The exact venue will be shared with confirmed attendees.
