Stig Nordal
Stig Nordal works primarily with commercialization of R&D and growth companies in various parts of the technology segment (inc. SW, SW/HW, Deep Tech, Health Tech and Biotech/Life Science). His work aims particularly towards ownership and company restructuring, private placements and funding processes in the seed and VC stage, MA and transactions, both nationally and internationally.
He assists startups and mature companies at various stages of their development, and continuously works with technology investors, business angel funds and venture funds, as well as their portfolio-companies. He also holds formal competence from the MIT Sloan School of Management and NTNU (Institute for Industrial Economics), and practical experience related to entrepreneurship, business modelling, innovation and strategy.
Furthermore, Stig is a director of various startups and technology funds. He has experience from Silicon Valley, California where he worked with Norwegian companies established in the US.
Stig has been responsible for the development of new investment models in the early-stage segment in Norway, such as the so-called SLIP (Startup Lead Investment Paper) and Convertible Note, in addition to having developed incentive programs adapted to early-stage environments such as the so-called Kruse Smith model for technology companies.
