DLA Piper maintains the strongest position in the Nordics

For the 7th consecutive year, DLA Piper is the law firm assisting in the highest number of transactions in the Nordic region, according to the Mergermarket Legal Advisor League Tables 2023.

Our lawyers in the Nordic region have been involved in 262 registered transactions in 2023. DLA Piper also tops the list of transaction volume globally and in Europe.

In Norway, our team completed 59 transactions throughout the year. This achievement marks DLA Piper Norway's highest-ever ranking in Mergermarket's league tables.

Significantly, Christian P.N. Fenner, partner and Head of Corporate M&A at DLA Piper Norway, is one of the top two lawyers (level 1/partners) in terms of deal volume in Norway for 2023, with an impressive personal contribution of 14 completed transactions.
